The Charm of Motherhood
The charm of Motherhood is to be respected as a role and a gift from God. When I decided what my style of newborn photography was, I was immediately drawn to a minimalist, unposed, simple and organic style, free of props. Just baby, because let’s face it, they are just perfect as they are! Newborns are precious and innocent and you could come up with just about any adjective to describe them but Motherhood and parenthood is a powerful thing to be commended. There is that bond that transcends all others and it is fierce and strong. Even though we all love differently and in different ways, the bond is still strong and unshakable.
I am truly blessed, I will get to watch these babies grow, as they come back for each milestone. As a mother and a business owner, it just embodies all that my heart loves about photography. This sweet little man, Oliver is very close to my heart. He was all but 5 days old when he arrived in the studio. I have photographed this family and mama multiple times now and I was super excited for his arrival! I recently did mamas maternity session and I knew that this little one was going to be nothing short of incredible! He arrived sleeping and left sleeping. Baby Oliver you have certainly set the bar high for dreamy newborn sessions. I just can’t get over his thick black hair, his big chubby cheeks and the sweetest lips. Seriously he is just one of a kind adorable and I look forward to watching him grow and capturing those milestones!
Smitten & Captivated
Baby Oliver has joined us with all this love and passion untouched by what the world is. Dad, Gerhard is completely smitten with his baby boy. Jo is totally captivated. I love to watch parents completely enamoured in the presence of their newborn.
A life that Glorifies God
There is an innocence when you come face-to-face with a newborn. Some people say that they have learned so much about God through their children and I agree wholeheartedly. What are you bringing to this world Baby Oliver? I think there is so much that we can learn from our children about their purity and innocence. I think in a way it is a reminder, in fact, a challenge of what we were made for. We were made for great things, a life that glorifies the One who gave it to us, we were made to glorify God.
