Mummy and Me
Mummy and me session for the win this week. I have had the privilege of photographing Re-Anne since she was 20 weeks pregnant with baby Natalie. She was only a newborn the last time I photographed her and look at her now!! Natalie is super cute and sweet. She looks at everything with such curiosity. She has a bright presence about her, carefree and ready to explore. Natalie looks up at her mama with such appreciation and love not even understanding what she does for you, and how vast her love is for you.
Bubbling Joy
Natalie’s smile lights up any room. That joy that bubbles out of her when she finds something simply hilarious is contagious. Natalie had me in fits of laughter playing in the studio. The way she crinkles up her nose when she laughs is too adorable. And how she points that index finger at the things that steal her attention. She carries sunbeams in her cheeks!
Document the milestones
There is power in documenting your children. As they grow and change at every milestone. As they learn and discover the world. It is important to remember every stage of their life. They don’t stay little for long. Oh, how I miss my own kids baby years! Newborns soon become toddlers. They say their first real word and before you know it they are taking their first step. Toddlers then become old enough to go off to kindy. The time you have to spend with them becomes more and more precious.
So document those moments you have together. Hold on to those memories, because all we have left of the past are photo’s as memories.
