Pure Bliss

One of the greatest joys I have as a newborn photographer is getting to meet new parents and capture their first days together as a family unit.

This newborn session was pure bliss. Baby Odette made her arrival into the world a little earlier than expected and arrived at my studio at only 10 days old.

She is healthy, happy and serene. It was only 2 weeks ago that I had Gabi in the studio for her gorgeous maternity session.Head over heels

Gabi and Cameron are sweetly head over heels in love with Baby Odette and it’s easy to see why. I was so impressed with how hands on and doting Dad is, especially as he is a new Dad. I have no doubt he is what great Dads are made of and Odette already has him wrapped around her tiny finger!

Baby safety is a priority

With every session, my top priority is to make sure my babies are safe, happy and comfortable. I am trained in newborn safety and always aware of the safety aspects of the whole session and studio environment. It is my joy for all parents coming into the studio to relax and know they can trust me completely with their most precious gifts. I take this privilege very seriously!

Simple & minimalist

My approach to newborn photography is minimalist, by using simple components to accentuate the newborn baby’s delicate features. I pursue simplicity and minimalism to create distinct images, that are classic and heirloom fine art pieces that will never date. By using natural light I am able to create shadows and contrast in just the right places. I love to use a clean white background and negative space. This simple, organic setting keeps the focus on your baby and their teeny tiny features that are uniquely them.

Tiny baby details

When you look back on your newborns first days, you will be glad to have captured all their precious details. Their rosy cheeks, teeny fingers and toes, silky soft baby hair, and their sweet pursed lips. All these details make your baby perfect and unique. My aim is to preserve these details and your baby’s precious days as a newborn in a classic and simple way!
